This policy explains what data sub.earth collects and how it is used. Questions: support@sub.earth.
When you use the newsletter signup or the support form, we collect what you enter: your email, and (on the support form) your name and message. We use this to reply to you and, if you signed up, to send occasional updates. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time.
When you submit a form, we record basic technical data to help us respond and to prevent abuse: your IP address, approximate location (country/region), browser/device (user-agent), language, and the page that referred you. We do not use this to identify you personally.
With your consent (via the cookie banner), we may use the Meta Pixel to show you sub.earth ads on Instagram and Facebook (retargeting). This lets Meta recognise that a browser visited our site; we never receive your identity or email from it. If you decline, these advertising cookies are not set. You can change your choice by clearing your browser's site data for sub.earth.
With consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (it sets analytics cookies). If you choose "Necessary only," these are not set.
We do not sell your data. Email you send us is delivered through Resend and read in our mailbox. Advertising and analytics (only with consent) are handled by Meta and Google Analytics. Our site and DNS run on Cloudflare.
You can ask us to access or delete the data we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by emailing support@sub.earth. Depending on your location (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have additional rights, which we honour.
We keep form submissions only as long as needed to support you and run the newsletter, then delete them on request or when no longer needed.
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
